• ECA IA connects 26 member companies across 12 European countries. The companies covered by our latest member survey alone employ approximately 2,000 people.
• Several member companies and individual experts within the network have worked with electrochemical activation since the early 2000s, bringing more than two decades of practical, commercial and regulatory experience to the association.
• Together, our members contribute expertise in electrochemistry, water treatment, chemistry, microbiology, process and equipment engineering, manufacturing, automation, regulatory affairs, product safety, efficacy validation, quality management, field service and commercial deployment. The network also includes consumer product and skincare expertise covering formulation, safety assessment, claims, packaging, private-label manufacturing, brand development and routes to market.
• This expertise is applied across multiple industry verticals, including drinking water, food and beverage production, horticulture, healthcare and hygiene, animal health, industrial water treatment, consumer products and skincare.
• Members also bring experience and capabilities relevant to emergency preparedness and crisis-affected environments, including decentralised water treatment, local disinfectant production, deployable systems and the continuity of essential water and hygiene services.

This combination of long-term experience, multidisciplinary expertise, sector knowledge and industrial capability enables the network to support the entire journey from ECA technology and regulatory compliance to scalable production, practical applications and finished products. It gives members, authorities and industry partners access to a breadth and depth of knowledge and practical experience that would be difficult for any single organisation to build alone.
